Spanish private banking. Digitalization process

This is a qualitative research, which through a bibliographic search and using the historical-logical and analysis and synthesis methods describes the process of digitalization of Spanish banking in the present 21st century, emphasizing the need to accelerate the development of this process from COVID 19. The characteristics of Spanish banking in general and in particular of private banking in the context of the European Union are shown. The state of digitalization achieved by the four large Spanish private banks is shown, as well as a ranking according to their level of digitalization. A study of the target market that serves as a basis for the digitization of Spanish private banking is provided.
