Those examined include small and large airliners, helicopters, and cargo and passenger aircraft, either in civil or military employment. Alongside a detailed history of each aircraft presented, this book offers first-hand accounts from travels to South America between 1971 and 1993, providing a unique insight into not only the lives of these aircraft but also those who flew and utilised them.
