With the Vietnam War entering its sixth year, Lieutenant Carl Daniels leads his platoon on search-and-destroy missions around Saigon. As the war intensifies, he must find the courage to fight and win his own personal battle: To maintain his humanity, to survive, and to return to Rhiannon, his beloved wife.
