Since 1992, Sandile Dikeni has, in the ""Cape Times"" as well as various magazines, attempted to change the way in which South Africa sees itself. His progressive perspective on what it is to be human in South Africa has underpinned all his reflections on the kind of society he yearns for - whether he is confronting racism in its many guises, commenting on Hansie or the National Symphony Orchestra, or sharing personal experiences.
