Something's Fishy

Somethings Fishy is a simple story that describes a complex issue, the introduction and spread of invasive carp in the Mississippi River and its tributaries. What started out as a management solution has resulted in an ecological nightmare. It could get worse. If bighead and silver carp enter the Great Lakes, they would likely disrupt a multi-billion dollar commercial and recreational fishing industry. However, the situation could improve if people at home and abroad ate them. Although not a permanent fix, consumption is a healthy and delicious way to address this problem. Bon apptit.
