When rookie police officer Drew Daniels begins to unravel the situations he encounters, he questions whether or not he can really effect change in his community? While assigned to undercover vice operations, Drew meets a lady of leisure who dramatically changes his life. Following an incident that lands Drew in jail, he goes into the military and serves in the Vietnam War. Drew ultimately becomes a renowned jazz artist whose popularity causes his past to resurface and haunt him.
