Some Glad Morning

God certainly calls the unprepared and then performs the work inside you to guide and direct. As the years passed, I received my call to the ministry. A call I refused to accept, but God moves in ways we can never fully understand.

For many years I simply attended homegoing services; I peered in while others ministered to the emotional and spiritual needs of the parishioners. I was never asked to do anything, and I never requested. As the years went by, I was asked to read scripture or offer a prayer which was sufficient for me.
