Lin Greenwood has lived in Osita for almost a decade, forging their own path after leaving their overbearing mother's nest. They now own a coffeeshop at Osita University, and during their off-hours they patrol the city as the superhero Smoke. But juggling a secret identity with civilian life is hard, especially when expectations keep piling higher and higher on Lin and their alter-ego.

Keeping everything in balance has been getting harder - running Cool Beans, training a new employee, finding a murderous villain, Titan's trial, and learning how to navigate their relationship with Evren and Mikhail... Family drama just might be the final straw.

Lin, like every other superhero and Masked, is only human, and humans make mistakes. And sometimes? Sometimes, those mistakes are fatal.
