But when the owner of the mill tells him he wants a man to hunt down the crook who stole his wife’s jewelry, Slocum finds himself switching jobs—for a promised huge payoff.
 
Chasing down the jewel thief seems like a simple tracking job. That’s before Slocum winds up in unmapped territory on the trail of a criminal mastermind. Heading into terrible danger, Slocum will have to decide if getting back the most valuable stone is worth putting his own life on the line…
