Six Traditional Western Macedonian Dances for Piano

The ''Six traditional dances of Western Macedonia'' is a work that started and was completed in 2014. It includes three different styles of music (traditional, jazz and classical). The love for traditional music appears in most of my works. The fact that I have been a traditional dancer for about 20 years has influenced me and has gifted me with the senses of rhythm, scales and melody because traditional dancers perform each traditional work with the appropriate melodic and rhythmic style. Modern jazz is the kind of music that always fascinated me. It is the music that I was studying in leisure time and played initially with amateur bands and later on at a professional level. Jazz harmony and contra tempo constitute core elements of the project.
