I realized one day that the devotionals I'd been reading were drawing me more to the author's voice than to God's own. So, I changed my practice. I came with nothing but the scripture, sat with the Holy Spirit, asked for revelation, and wrote what He stirred in me. These pages are the fruit of that simple, sacred practice; they are thoughts, word pictures, and inspired whispers born only from the Word of God and the Spirit's gentle guidance.
