Silence in the City

Listen to the LORDs voice speaking in your soul, inthe silence of your soul. His silentWORD, His NAME (YHWH) speaks at the heart of all sound; from His Spirit allvoice is born.

And no tongue, no noise of man, can disturb itspurity, its light. It breathes. It lives.He speaks-- bringing life. Andthere is peace. (Not even death canovercome Him.)

Though borne under a cross of pain, here is butlove, here wisdom shines in silence, without a word. And in it we find strength; all questionsflee. For nothing touches the awe ofHis Presence. Nothing speaks morefearfully than the silence of God.
