Show Boat

Captain Andy Hawks, his wife, Parthy Ann, and a 10-year-old daughter, Magnolia. He buys the new show boat Cotton Blossom. Among its acting cast are Julie Dozier and her husband Steve Baker, and Ellie Chipley and her husband, affectionately known as “Schultz”. Another crew member, Pete, makes unwanted advances towards Julie. Her husband, Steve, delivers a sound defeat to Pete, whom swears he will get revenge.
