Short Latin Stories

The entertaining stories in this collection can be used for practice in unseen translation or comprehension. They have been selected from a wide range of source: graeco-Roman fables, Roman and Greek myth and history, Latin and English literature, and from a variety of traditional tales. There is help with vocabulary for each story and a complete word-list at the end of the book. The stories can be used as a supplement to any latin course being followed, but for users of the Cambridge Latin Course cross-references are given to the appropriate stages to help plan a programme of work.
