The deepest thoughts and feelings that ran through Key's mind as he served his sentence at various prisons in New York City. He takes a different approach from Keynotes as he struggles with the pain of missing Shayna. ShayNotes is a compilation of some of Key's poems, written and dedicated to Shayna, and one of his many books of rhymes that J.D. kept at her house.
