The hero of Yuri Troitsky''s debut novel is a modern-day trickster. We do not know his name or surname, there is only a nice German word "Schatz" - "treasure", which he and his wife call each other. Schatz is an entrepreneur who made his career in the nineties and noughties and regularly gets into all kinds of trouble, both ridiculous, dramatic and hopeless. Nevertheless, he manages to get out of everything alive.We watch the hero grow up and become a hero in Moscow and Moscow, then we will see him in Riga, then in London, then at sea resorts. Despite the circumstances, Shatz remains a man everywhere, even if he tries, like his famous predecessor, to practice relatively honest ways of taking money from the population.For the last time we will see the hero on February 24, 2022 in Odessa - but, of course, this is not the end of his life ...
