Shattered

For Michael Goins life was good. He was a successful writer, happily married, and working on his second novel. He was on his way back to New Jersey to attend a funeral for an old friend. Having not been part of his old life for almost seven years time seemed to be standing still. He reflects on his life, his mistakes, and his eventual death as he realizes he is at his own funeral.
