Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Where other authors are quoted, it is generally in order to corroborate the usage of the Shakespeare texts. I could have drawn profusely on these additional sources of illus tration, but I preferred to concentrate on the Folio, to the better understanding of which I h0pe even this slight study will contribute.
