Shakespeare's Tragedy of King Lear

William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616) is widely recognized as the greatest writer in the English language, best known for his plays Romeo and Juliet, and Hamlet. King Lear is another very famous Shakespeare tragedy that depicts the spiral into madness that King Lear undergoes after he disposes of his kingdom.
