2421 AD-300 years after the second coming of Joshua-and two months after the events of The Human.

Still recovering from the loss of Beth Raven, Adam is sent by his superior in the Church of Joshua on a questionable mission to a research Abbey.

It's the last thing he wants to do, and Lucky has warned him that it's a trap.
