Shaara of Altar

Shaara is adapting to life with an alien husband. He is strict and demanding, yet she tries to please him. But when they land on Altar, his home planet, nothing seems to go right for Shaara. She is constantly doing or saying the wrong thing. Everything is new to her and frankly alien. But occasionally her husband is loving, and her new parents-in-law adore her.

Things might be looking up until, Thenos, Shaarvan's brother, begins to cause trouble.
