Series of First Lessons in Greek

Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. Fob some years it was a part of my work to instruct begin ners in Greek. During that time the method of this book, which is in some regards peculiar, was developed. It will, perhaps, hardly be necessary to give reasons for the introduction of the verb at the very outset, and the sub sequent development of its inflection alternately with that of the other parts of speech. We should teach Greek, as far as the changed conditions will allow, in the natural way in which in adult years we learn to speak a modern language. In this case, the Object being Me expression of though, about the first thing that we do is to put noun and verb together.
