Sense of Duty

In 1987, the KGB launched an ambitious plan to kidnap an American Airman with access to nuclear weapons storage at a Strategic Air Command base. In 1988, two female Air Force Munitions Officers were taken from an apartment in Fort Worth, TX. One of them was Brad Waverly's wife. When the government failed to mount an effort to rescue her, his Sense of Duty forced him to take on the mission himself - despite evidence that she was unfaithful. The trail lead to Honduras where the girls were being interrogated by the KGB, using all the physical and chemical methods they had pioneered. Protected by a Honduran drug lord in the depths of the jungle, Waverly had just one chance and that a slim one. Little did he suspect that his efforts would be rewarded animosity and not appreciation. This is a fast-paced adventure that examines love, hate, Soviet torture, and human duplicity.
