Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka (1804-1857) turned to genres of chamber vocal music throughout his career. His heritage includes more than 70 songs and romances. Among the poets whose lyrics Glinka addressed are not only ingenious names, but also the authors whose names are not forgotten only thanks to the composer's romances.
