Secret Flight: Poems Inspired by Nature

From these brainstorms emerged a collection of nature-inspired poems, many of which are represented in the book before you. As I spend more time in the woods, by the ocean, and by rivers, my awe and respect for the ingenuity and beauty of all living things increases. It is my hope that these poems will inspire readers to explore the natural world and protect it for many generations to come. With that in mind, every purchase of this book will contribute 50% of net proceeds toward Pie Ranch (pieranch.org), an organic farm in Pescadero, California, that teaches high school students and farmers about sustainable agriculture and local ecology.
