Considering the biographical nature of thiscollection of stories, it is diffi cult to think ofwhat to include on this page that has not beenincluded. Briefl y, Ken received his BA in Englishfrom Wayne State University and his MA fromMichigan State University. After teaching English for thirty-three years,thirteen of which included supervising the schoolyearbook staff at Pontiac Central High School, heretired to his summer home on a lake in the upperpeninsula of Michigan. He spends the warmest half of the year at Pike Lake in Luce Countywith his wife of more than fi fty years. When temperatures begin to fall, Kenand Joanne head south to the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. However, it never fails, that when the calendar page turns to November,his thoughts focus on the fi fteenth of that month and whos out in a blindwaiting for the sun to shed its light on opening day of fi rearms deer season.
