Seasons of God

Have you ever watched a beautiful sunset and become absorbed into its hues of red, yellow, blue, pink and purple? Have you ever walked in a forest and listened to the insects, the burbling of a brook or the wind blowing the Autumn-colored leaves? Have you ever felt so alone and aftraid, crying for help from God's son, to lift you up and bring you to Him? I have experienced all these things and have attempted to capture the feelings I had, and the hope I cherished, in words and verses. These poems were written out of feelings of joy and despair, times of comfort and fear, enduring pain or feeling the golden glow within after praying to Christ for aid. I hope these verses can give you warmth, empathy, gratitude, hope and faith that in the end, God is in charge of all and He will never fail you. That even in human death, He is there; and where He is, there is life.
