I'm drowning in a whirlpool of rumors, and dangers lurk in every direction I swim.

For the first time since leaving my underwater city, I finally feel at home on land. I have friends, a good job, and my loyal pet octopus. Even my sexy former boss is making land the place to be. But rumors are emerging of rewards for half-sirens that return to our underwater city.

Even if I wanted to go back, I know the stories are too good to be true. When an unsavory debt collector named Branc forces me to sniff around for information, I discover much more than I intended to find.

Rumors swirl into fact, and my life on land is in jeopardy. I need to find the source of the lies before I have nothing left above the waves. My choices are this: either die of land-sickness above or Seamount justice below.
