The object of this book is to prove by Biblical authority that God is the great and only Physician, who, in the words of David, healeth all our dis eases, and that the promise of Jesus: He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, was meant not alone for His own day and genera tion, but for all time, and may be realized to-dav. The work is absolutely impersonal and non-secta rian in character - a compilation of Scriptural pas sages, covering the entire range of the Old and New Testaments, without note, comment, or emen dation, and which unmistakably reveal the power of God to overcome sorrow, sin, disease, and death.
