Schlüter in Berlin

Andreas Schluuter (1659-1714) was the most important Baroque sculptor and architect in Northern Europe. Around 1700, he transformed Berlin into a modern residential city. As court artist, court sculptor and director of the Berlin Academy of Art, Schluter had a highly responsible position.
