Sarafina: Legend of the Shadow

Port of Spain sleeps uneasy.

Four powerful men-Blaze Charles, Ramiro Del Cura, El Cura, and H.-fall in "accidents" too neat to be coincidence. Whispers say a figure walks the night: a woman in black with fire for eyes, the Shadow. To some she's a curse; to others, salvation.

Detective Maria Gomez watches the city fracture between fear and faith. Each new body brings her closer to the truth she half-suspects-that her own prot g , Sarafina James, hides behind the visor. When an old folklore case resurfaces-the La Diablesse Murders-Maria and Sarafina are drawn into a hunt that blurs the line between spirit and flesh, justice and vengeance.

Meanwhile, crime lord Cutter Boodram tightens his grip, twisting the Shadow's legend to serve his own rule. He orders a final kill that will break the city's last light: Maria Gomez herself. To save her mentor and her crew, Sarafina must turn the trap back on its master and face the empire she helped him build.

From the oil-slick docks to the glittering hills, Legend of the Shadow follows a vigilante forged by betrayal, a detective haunted by truth, and a city learning that myths are born when justice fails.
