Sacred Whispers

A sacred space is wherever we can be alone with God. It can be a designated prayer closet, kitchen, office, or bedroom. This is because what makes a space sacred and safe is the presence of God. God is our refuge and intervenes when our inhibitions have fled, and our fear is front and center. Our sacred spaces make room for God to be with us and prepare us for every season of our lives. When we invite God into our sacred spaces, we are ready to get intimate and personal. It is our intimacy that will fortify our relationship with God. These intimate interactions and exchanges with God are what are referred to as Sacred Whispers throughout this book.
