Saba, an Ethiopian adoptee, loves nothing better than running barefoot in her cross country races. And she's fast. Maybe the fastest girl in the state. But when she finds out her young cousin in Ethiopia is in trouble, she realizes that she is going to have to sacrifice everything--her team, the state championship, and even her mother's health--to save her.
