Rockets Full of Rubies

A ring of small rockets filled with ruby chips orbiting the second planet of a red dwarf star initiates a mystery. A vacationing group of friends find the ring, but run into trouble as a devious trap secretly laid in the background snaps shut and threatens their lives. Their only chance for survival lies in a new, untested weapon.
