Roberto Huarcaya

An ingenious photographic mapping of Peru as one continuous image Peruvian photographer and artist Roberto Huarcaya’s (born 1959) artist’s book is comprised of one image built up out of 16 combined photographic negatives, a process that the artist took eight years to develop. The resulting fragmented work attempts to map his equally fragmented homeland of Peru.
