Road to Njawara, Badibou, the Gambia

Njawara village, located along border of Gambia and Senegal in the Northern Gambia, is a three hundred years old former colonial trading centre in hinterland Gambia. Njawara is a tourist magnet a few villages can boost of having welcomed Queen Elizabeth 11to its Bantaba in 1961. Njawara is home of many businesses and is l habited by heterogeneous multiculture rich in history of regional tribes.. Njawara is home base of the author and portrays a pulsating village government and traditions of the local. Today's Bantaba is a microcosm of former African Democratic systems. This village ritual of many millennia ancestral values and virtues. I write to raise funds to build Njawara village hospital.
