Riddles of Amharic seen the light of the day since Mittwoch has published 10 riddles of Amharic in 1899. Since then language games such as riddles and oral and folk literature of Amharic, a Semitic language spoken in East Africa- Ethiopia by more than 50 million people, have grown exponentially to this day. This 1200 collection of riddles is by far the largest collection in Amharic to this date. The riddle game can be played by both children and adults. As explained in the book, riddle is the best tool to teach children to study their school subjects considering education as fun. For a better use the book has three sections; the riddles, the answers and the index by which you can easily locate the riddle you want to ask and play.
