Revolutionary Heart is a collection of thirty poems from spoken word artist Brent C. Green. Within its pages, the balance between realistic adult romance and the overly romanticized notion of love is explored in a manner that is self-aware and never na ve. These topics are contrasted and melded with defiant calls to action against nebulous and entrenched societal institutions told through stories stemming from Brent's years of activist organizing and direct action.
