The material is organized and divided into ten chapters and two appendices. The book covers Cardiovascular, Pulmonary, Gastrointestinal, Endocrine, Reproductive, Urinary, Nervous/Musculoskeletal system, Hematology, Dermatological conditions, and Psychiatry/Addiction. The knowledge points are summarized by words, clearly and concisely, with appropriate charts or pictures attached. Numerous practice questions reflecting the content and format of the NCCAOM exam in the Biomedicine module are included after each chapter. Seven full-length practice exams are in the second appendix. These questions can be used as a pretest to identify areas of weakness or as a post-test to determine mastery.
