Report with a noose around the neck. Diary of a prisoner before execution

Julius Fucik, a Czech journalist and member of the Resistance Movement, was captured by the Gestapo in April 1942. While in Pankrac prison, he wrote the world''s most famous text, "Report with a Noose Around His Neck." 167 sheets of tissue paper were secretly carried out by two guards sympathetic to the writer. On September 8, 1943, Julius Fucik was executed. After his release from the concentration camp in 1945, his wife Gusta collected the hidden sheets and published a book, which was subsequently translated into 70 languages. The proposed edition includes the famous articles of Yu. Fuchik, as well as the memoirs of his wife.
