Reflexions et maximes

Originally published in 1936, as part of the Cambridge Plain Texts series, this volume contains Réflexions et maximes and Réflexions critiques by French writer Luc de Clapiers, Marquis de Vauvenargues (1715–47). The texts are presented in French with a short editorial introduction in English. A short bibliography is also included.
