Rebel Mart

BossyDavis, an obese sixty-year-old manager of the Rebel Mart convenience store, isabsorbed in the drudgery of her everyday life. She dreams of retirement. StanWhite is a thirty-year-old party animal whose family has had a house on theocean in Sugar Beach for years. Bossy considers Stan a true friend andconfidant.

Theowner of the Rebel Mart is George Foster who is in poor health. George has madeBossy ten percent owner of the store much to the dismay of his spoileddaughter, Allison. Meanwhile, Bossy has become addicted to pain killers takento sooth her swollen, red feet.

Oneafternoon following Stans weekend fishing trip, Bossy and Stan go to Georgeshouse and find him in a state of post stroke incapacitation. Stan calls Allison who is living in Wyomingwith her boyfriend. Allison heads hometo take care of her father and oversee the family business.

Theresult sets off a life-changing chain of events leading Bossy through the saleof the Rebel Mart, overdosing on national tabloid TV and finally rehab with afresh start.
