Reading Readiness Alphabet Workbook 1

This alphabet workbook teaches reading readiness skills from phonological awareness to letter-sound correspondences and reading and writing CVC words. Letters are taught for reading from the beginning. Two types of letter buttons teach letters as one unit which comprises building phonological awareness of onset sounds of objects representing each letter and letter-sound correspondences (decoding) and writing the letter (encoding). The workbook helps children get ready for reading by introducing them to the onset sounds of clue words, letter-sound correspondences and short words. Letter buttons are clues for beginning readers making learning beginning reading easier. Especially suitable for dyslexic learners.
