Raven's Prophecy

Freya was thrust through a whirlpool into a world long lost and forgotten because victors write history. It was beyond her comprehension and she struggled to understand just how it all happened. Time slowed down and she observed a single drop gently and slowly falling to the ground. Crisp white snow turned dark red with the girl's blood and the eyes she saw herself mirrored in focused on her, which sent paralysing shocks through Freya's veins. The girl was released from the excruciating pain caused by the man holding the bloody knife who sliced her throat in one swift motion. It all started with the Raven who flew to her window on that fateful Monday morning when she should have just stayed in bed.
