This literary fiction three part short story represents "The Birth, The Life Journey, and The Resting Place." This short story is intended to help prepare children ages 6-9 years old for separation, loss of a loved one and or pet they loved. Because death is a natural cycle of life, educators and parents can provide many teachable opportunities in the home and at school to introduce the concept of death to our young children.
