Protecting Human Rights through Education in Mozambique

This book is aimed at all students, academics and all human rights activists. It is a contribution to awakening society in general to the need not only to know their rights, but also the instruments that protect them so that they can demand them when they are violated. The author of the book, who has a degree in Education Sciences and a master's degree in the area of human rights and Ethics of International Cooperation, has found education to be a valid instrument for (re)understanding and demanding one's rights. We find in education as a right a starting point for raising awareness among those who violate and also among those whose rights are violated. As Mandela said, education is the weapon a people has for change and development. This change and development, we believe, will only be possible among people who are enlightened about their rights.
