Prostate cancer is not only the most common genitourinary tumor but, accord- ing to the tumor registry of Munich, the male tumor with the highest inci- dence. The wide range of information concerning this important disease has been dealt with comprehensively. In a time when interested urologists can surf in the internet to find an article they are looking for, they usually get lost because of the flood of papers covering the same subject. Furthermore, they are still alone in deciding which scientific contribution to believe and which will serve their patients best. A well-edited book such as this, however, provi- des quick access to all pertinent questions.
