Proposal for a Virtual Learning Environment for Distance Education

The aim of this work is to suggest web tools for Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), so that students on distance learning courses can achieve better performance and satisfaction. The aim is to achieve this objective through an argument, based on the main authors in the field, about Distance Education, Virtual Learning Environments and Usability applied to web interfaces, as well as a comparative survey of some VLEs selected from the various productive sectors.
