Collectively, my essays create a self portrait of me withBob Robinson, the defining influence of my life, and the lives ofour children Shirley Lalia, Elizabeth Smith, Susan Threat, MaryCatherine, Phillip Rease, and their children. They know, throughBobs book, Doctor Robinson, and his genealogy research, thatone must understand her/his roots to know how the past affects theirfutures. Through my writing, they will understand more about thepeople and events that have shaped my lifeinfluences that willalso be felt far into the future of Robinson descendants.
