Primary Clinical Care Manual

This is the 11th edition of the South African classic textbook, Primary Clinical Care Manual, which has been updated in every respect to meet the educational requirements of current nursing students. Changes made to the Department of Health Standard Treatment Guidelines and Essential Medicines List, and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, are included in the manual and, as ever, the book has all the current information needed by students for primary health care in South Africa. Numerous medicine and dosage changes have been made in accordance with Department of Health (DOH) recommendations. This edition includes the 2018 edition of the Department of Health Primary Care Standard Treatment Guidelines (STGs) and Essential Medicines List (EML). It also includes information obtained from the Hospital Level STGs and EML.
